10 years of shearing together
We've been doing exemplary shearings at the Serralves Foundation with Martin and Susana O'Connell for 10 years now, always with a fantastic audience! It was in 2015, precisely at Serralves, that we met for the first time to do the first shearing and since then we have worked together every year, shearing all over the country and growing a beautiful friendship around Portuguese wool.
In the end we always return to Serralves where we shear the Bordaleira de Entre-Douro-e-Minho sheep to raise awareness and show good practice to those who join us on this day.
This wool will now be used throughout the year by the Serralves Environment Education Service team to organise activities for schools and families around wool, from sheep to fabric, which are already part of their annual programme.
