Finally, a few skeins dyed with our homegrown weld and overdyed with indigo to make the classic Lincoln green.
Did you know weld yellow is the most lightfast dye of vegetable origin?
And to prove it, here is a 1700 year old sock dyed with weld, madder and indigo that made it to our days with its colorful stripes.
