Technical and scientific advisory services for the Erasmus+ “Craftsmanship+ Fostering a New and Competitive Approach to Crafts and Semi- Industrial High Added-Value Sectors” project, led by the University of Aveiro.
The project originated from an idea by Alice Bernardo and Miguel Barbot, who subsequently assisted the consulting firm Advancis Business Services and the University of Aveiro in preparing and submitting the application and took on technical roles throughout the project.
In addition to responsibilities related to the development and pedagogical and technical coordination of e-learning courses in the fields of weaving and basketry, activities were also carried out related to the production of educational content in the areas of management and entrepreneurship for artisans.
About the project
Craftsmanship+ is an international project aimed at promoting the development of innovative businesses in the handicrafts sector and in high-value-added semi-industrial activities.
Craftsmanship+ proposes a new educational approach to artisanal and semi-industrial activities, based on new technologies and integrating the elements of production, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Thus, the project aims to create favorable conditions that will enable young adults to start their own businesses in the handicrafts and semi-industrial sectors, while also helping current artisans develop entrepreneurial and innovative skills that will allow them to grow their businesses.
