The flax mill

This equipment is a flax mill and is probably the most fascinating tool used in the flax processing process. The mill was only used in the north of our country, but today there are few that are still in working condition. Although we are always in favor of technological renewal, this is a well-designed piece of equipment, whose design has stood the test of time. We were lucky enough to have access to one to mill our flax for the upcoming online course “Flax to Linen, Seed to Fibre” that we are producing for our GatewayCrafts project!
