Alice Bernardo and Miguel Barbot

Barbot Bernardo was created as a result of the shared vision of our founders, Alice and Miguel, of a world shaped by local production chains, ethical and sustainable organizations, and communities committed to climate transition.

Alice Bernardo is our learning, education, and training coordinator and an expert in the transmission of technical knowledge in craftsmanship, semi-industrial production, and textile fiber production.

An architect by training, Alice is an educator, consultant, and researcher interested in creating local production chains, from producers to consumers, and in developing innovative learning methodologies to support climate transition. Alice founded Saber Fazer in 2011.

With a background in design, marketing, and business management, Miguel Barbot is our innovation and strategic design coordinator. He supports entrepreneurs and organizations in their business processes, focusing on cultural and creative industries, urban development, and agroecology. Miguel is also the creative director of Ofício.
