Manuel and Carlos are two teachers from Galicia that develop a project called Panosdaquí, through which they weave traditional fabrics based on their research about local galician textiles and ancestral techniques. They are both weavers, one living in Pontevedra and the other in Coruna, and upon trying to find a fulling mill to finish their woolen fabrics they quickly found out that there wasn't one they could use, so, they built a small fulling mill for themselves!
A few weeks ago, after reading about my flax scutcher, they wrote me an email sharing their story, which made me so happy for finding someone else that is not afraid of doing the hard work:

"We are Manuel and Carlos, two teachers that research about traditional textiles from Galicia. (...) Upon reading your post about building a flax scutcher, we decided to send you photos and a video from a small fulling mill that we built to full the fabric we weave. It was expensive for us, but we are able to full the fabric in a traditional way. It works wit an electric motor."
