Creation of a Dye Plant Garden at the Escola Artística Soares dos Reis

Natural Dyeing School for the “Revive” project
The Revive Project is part of the initiative “Europe Through Textiles: Network for an Integrated and Interdisciplinary Humanities,” whose vision is to rewrite European history based on the massive production, trade, consumption, and reuse of textiles and clothing.
Design non Design - semester at the Lusófona University
Guest lecturer for the course “Design Não Design” in the Communication Design bachelor’s program at Lusófona University. As part of this course, a project was developed focusing on practical knowledge (from doing to teaching) and the processes involved in effectively communicating “know-how” within the context of communication design.
Sheep Shearing Course
In the spring of 2023, we offered training courses on sheep shearing, aimed at shearers, sheep farmers, and other professionals interested in promoting local wool.
GatewayCrafts - Erasmus+ Project
Launched in January 2023, GatewayCrafts is an Erasmus+ project that involves developing pilot initiatives to facilitate access to and increase the dissemination of technical knowledge in the field of small-scale manufacturing.
Capacity Building for the Educational Service of Gaia Biological Park
Training for the educational staff at the Gaia Biological Park, with the aim of developing new activities related to the Wool Cycle for different audiences, making use of the Park’s existing resources.

Training for the staff of the Serralves Foundation’s Environmental Education Service, with the aim of developing new activities related to wool and linen for different audiences, making use of the farm’s existing resources.
Culture for All in Vinhais
The "Culture for All" project in Vinhais was dedicated to promoting artistic and cultural activities in the municipality of Vinhais. We were responsible for the Arts and Crafts sector. For this initiative, we chose to focus on wool and weaving—a raw material and a technique that are not only historically and culturally significant but also hold potential for future development in the region.
Indigo Dyeing Consultancy for Minority Denim
In 2022, we supported a Portuguese dyeing company that has been conducting research in the field of natural dyeing and implementing organic indigo dyeing processes.
Porto Fashion and Fabric Museum
Research, creation of exhibition content, text production, and technical and scientific consulting for the installation of the Porto Fashion and Fabric Museum, located at World of Wine.
Saber Fazer at the Museum of the Orient
Between 2019 and 2021, Saber Fazer organised courses at the Orient Foundation on organic indigo dyeing and pigment extraction.
Workshop “Portuguese wools” at the Parque Ibérico Natureza e Aventura (Copy)
An invitation-only educational event featuring two workshops: “Discovering Portuguese Wool” and “Working with Wool”.
Saber Fazer at the Theatre D. Maria II
An event held at the D. Maria II Theater in Lisbon, where we organized the “Basket Weaving” and “Wool Crafting” workshops as part of the “Portugal on the Brink of Extinction” event.
Saber Fazer in Famalicão
Development of an educational program for the Municipality of Famalicão. As part of the “Saber Fazer” program in Vila Nova de Famalicão, various activities were held at the Museu da Indústria Têxtil da Bacia do Ave and Devesa Park, aimed at both the school community and the general public.
Craftsmanship+ - Erasmus+ Project
Technical and scientific support for the Erasmus+ project “Craftsmanship+: Fostering a New and Competitive Approach to Crafts and Semi-Industrial High-Value-Added Sectors,” led by the University of Aveiro.
Saber Fazer in Serralves
Development of a research project and annual educational program for the Serralves Foundation. As part of this project, activities were carried out focusing on the production of natural textile fibers and their processing techniques, as well as natural dyeing.
