Our flax sprouting approximately 1 week after sowing 30 of April 2016;

As we get ready for next saturday's shearing, our flax keeps growing.
If all goes well, that empty area above the flax will be a small Dyer's Garden. Seeds for 14 different plants have been sowed and I hope to build the garden soon enough. I'll talk about the plant selection in another post, but it is a mix of classical dyeing plants, like Woad or Madder, with others better known for other reasons, like Purple Cone flowers or Agrimony.
